The Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test was a pre-release version of CS2 that ran from March 22 to September 27, 2023. This beta version provided selected players early access to test the game before its official launch.

Access to the beta was restricted to players who met specific criteria:

• CS:GO Prime status
• Active competitive matchmaking Skill Group
• Regular play in supported test regions
• Good Steam account standing
• High trust factor

Game Features:

• All weapons from CS:GO competitive modes
• Transferred cosmetic items (skins, stickers, knives)
• Enhanced weapon models
• Simplified faction system (SAS for CT, Phoenix Connexion for T)
